Take Control of Your KiwiSaver Investments

With the KiwiWRAP KiwiSaver Scheme, I specialise in helping sophisticated investors who prefer a more hands-on, self-directed approach to managing their retirement savings. This scheme allows you to bypass preset caps on securities, offering the flexibility to pursue highly tailored and concentrated investment strategies.

Many of my clients have successfully implemented bespoke KiwiSaver portfolios, which I help oversee while managing ongoing account maintenance. This self-managed KiwiSaver approach puts you firmly in control of your financial future, letting you choose the underlying investments in your portfolio rather than relying on fund managers or investment companies to decide for you.

This strategy is ideal for confident, proactive investors who are prepared to research, monitor, and actively manage their investments.

CompoundPro FAQs

  • Compound Pro is Compound Wealth’s KiwiSaver advice offering for investors in the KiwiWrap KiwiSaver Scheme. The KiwiWRAP KiwiSaver Scheme is an innovative self-select KiwiSaver scheme designed to enable investors the ability to hand-pick their investments from an extensive Authorised Investment List (AIL). KiwiWrap Investors have access to over 400 securities (ETF’s, funds, international shares and bonds) allowing them to build an investment portfolio that suits their goals, needs and appetite for risk with guidance from a Compound Wealth adviser. This scheme is ideal for sophisticated investors who want customisable investment choices, more control over their retirement savings, and full transparency of their holdings.

  • CompoundPro requirements:

Investors who take a long-term view with their KiwiSaver investment and not look to speculate and or trade frequently.

Investors must maintain a least a 1% allocation to cash to pay for fees monthly.

Trades would be limited to 5 per annum.

Inflows will only be invested when directed by you (some clients build cash up and trade every 6months for example).

You qualify as an eligible investor and understand the risks associated with self-managing your own KiwiSaver investment.

If you do not meet these requirements you can still get personalised KiwiSaver advice from us. Please complete our KiwiSaver Discovery Quiz for a complementary KiwiSaver report.

  • An eligible investor is legally defined as a person who has sufficient knowledge and experience dealing in financial products that enables them to sufficiently assess the merits and risks of a transaction. To confirm that you are an eligible investor you need to complete an Eligible Investor Certificate which certifies that you have sufficient experience to manage your own retirement savings.

  • KiwiWRAP KiwiSaver Scheme is not available to all investors.

To join the KiwiWRAP KiwiSaver Scheme through Compound Wealth, you must meet the eligibility requirements, have a minimum initial balance of $100,000, and throughout the duration of your membership of the Scheme, you must continuously retain the services of a professional financial adviser who is accredited to advise on the KiwiWRAP KiwiSaver Scheme by Consilium. Due to its design around choice, KiwiWRAP KiwiSaver Scheme is designed for investors at the top marginal tax rates.

The Scheme is not a portfolio investment entity (PIE) therefore tax is charged at a flat rate of 28% and is not included in the investor’s personal tax return.

  • The Product Disclosure Statement details the roles of the different parties in the Scheme.
